This exhibition of community made textiles, archive materials and photographs has been made by people from all over Bradford involved in the Heritage Lottery funded Worn Stories project delivered at Hive, a community arts charity.
Worn Stories is a two year project exploring Bradford’s heritage of textile recycling and reuse with participants from around the city. We have used a combination of archive research, textile-making activities and community-based reminiscing projects as part of our process.
The exhibition can be viewed in the café area from Tuesday 6th November – Sunday 3rd February. You can take part in free textile-making activities Wednesday 7, 21 Nov and 5 Dec and Saturday 24 Nov 1-4pm
Entrance to the museum is free. Donations are always welcome and donation boxes can be found around the site.
