The recently refurbished environment at Cliffe Castle Museum and Park with its fountains and glass houses offers a wonderful subject for drawing and painting outside.
The exhibition Keighley's war contains a section on Women, War and Suffrage. The display features women from various classes who were involved in the suffrage movement, either purposefully or through the war effort. These women would have been familiar with Cliffe Castle in one way or another.
There will also be the chance to see the exhibition War and Peace: the art of Percy Smith.
There will be help and advice available alongside a short talk by the curator of Keighley's War.
Please bring your own materials, stools will be available.
