Museums at Night: Lister's Lanterns by Cecil Green Arts

Lister's Lanterns is a community lantern parade which take place at Lister Park in Bradford. It has been running annually for a few years and gains in popularity every time. 

Visit the civic art gallery out of hours, a chance to visit the exhibitions, permanent galleries and peruse the gallery shop in the evening. If you struggle to visit due to work commitments, this is your moment!

Leading up the the Lantern Parade Cecil Green Arts run lantern making workshops in community centres, children centres and schools throughout Bradford. Plus in Cartwright Hall Art Gallery too!

Lantern workshops will be running in the gallery throughout the day. Come in and make yours, ready for the evening parade! 

There will be 4 sessons:

11am - 12pm; 12.30 - 1.30pm; 2.30 - 3.30pm and 4 - 5pm.

The parade sets off from the front steps at dusk. Tea, coffee and cake will be available to buy from the 'Refreshment Room' gallery cafe, plus food vans in the park.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
