Join us to celebrate the patron saint of Woolcombers, Bishop Blaise, and the history of wool in Bradford.
As part of 2019's Bring Back Blaise event at Bradford Industrial Museum, we will be holding a wool market. There will be stalls selling woollen yarns, textiles, and hand looms, family activities, spinning and weaving demonstrations, food, a pop up pub, choir, Brass band and even Alpacas! All of this will be alongside our fantastic displays, telling the story of Bradford's Industrial past.
Demonstrations by the Bradford Weavers, Spinners and Dyers, the International Feltmakers Association and the West Riding Rag Ruggers.
Exhibitors attending the event:
The Knitting Gift Shop, Freyalyn's Fibres, Adelaide Walker, Coastal Colours, Emily Foulds, Baa Baa Brighouse, Sylvan Tiger, Hooked by Design, County Alpacas, Jaki Bogg, Joes Toes, Dawn Hemming, Baa Ram Ewe, Riverside Spinning Co.
Rita's Indian Kitchen and Cafe Maison Express and a Pop Up Bar in the Linton Gallery.
As friendship, love, and unity compose the bond of peace, in them may our community join hands and thus increase. 1825 Bishop Blaise Procession
