Ilkley Literature Festival delves into the archives to celebrate 40 inspiring years, from the first Festival in 1973 - with W H Auden and a Puffin Club children's tea party – to Ted Hughes, the 'Minotaur controversy' and Maya Angelou’s iconic visit.
An exciting exhibition, designed by Val Carman, with unique artwork, photographs and letters from leading writers.
