Responses to Art: Games in the Park

Take a trip down memory lane with Games in the Park. The exhibition includes an amazing, live photographic reconstruction of Bruegel’s Children’s Games as well as a 21st century artists’ response to this 16th century painting. This painting captures street games in Gay Lane by Bradford born artist Richard Eurich.

Spend the day reminiscing about the games that you played as children and try your hand at making a few indoor games. If the weather isn’t too bad we may be able to venture outside as well.

Cost £3.00 per session.

Sessions must be pre-booked, please contact Cartwright Hall on 01274 431212.

Our Responses to Art Group meet on the first Thursday of the Month. Whether you like making art, talking about it or both - this could be for you. We hold a monthly session featuring an introductory talk about an exhibition or museum object, followed by lively discussion over a cup of coffee and a practical session. Bring a packed lunch if you are staying, we can provide a hot drink but there is no café.
