Responses to Art: Street Art

Inspired by the Victoria and Albert Museum’s internationally renowned collection of print, with names such as Banksy, D*Face, Eine, Miss Tic, Shepard Fairey and Swoon's work showcased.  Join us for a lino printing workshop exploring themes such as symbols and characters, influences and image making, city and street.

Our Responses to Art and Collections group usually meet on the first Thursday of the Month. Whether you like making art, talking about it or both, this could be for you. We hold a monthly session featuring an introductory talk about an exhibition or item from the collection, followed by lively discussion over a cup of tea or coffee. In the afternoon we hold a practical session using the exhibition or collection as a starting point which may or may not be tutored. Bring a packed lunch if you are staying, we can provide a hot drink but there is no café.

Cost: £3 Booking essential.
