Christopher Pratt & Sons: Bradford Cabinet Makers, Upholsterers & Decorators
Pratts is back in town. Bradford Industrial Museum is revisiting its collection of furniture and ephemera of Christopher Pratt and Sons. Not since 1970 has the opportunity arose to showcase the history of this memorable Bradford company. The exhibition will trace the humble beginnings of the company to its rise as a family empire on North Parade. Captured within the exhibition will not only be the craftsmanship of Christopher Pratts’ home furnishing but also Pratt’s anthropological and social engagement with the local community through photography.
