Bradford Open 2017 enables artists aged 16 and over who live, work or study within the Bradford District to showcase artwork at the civic Cartwright Hall Art Gallery.  Work is submitted in any medium and judged for inclusion in the exhibition by an invited panel.

Judges for 2017 include:

  • Alix Collingwood-Swinburn, Curator, Western Art, Culture/Durham, Durham University Library and Heritage Collection.
  • John Hyatt, Professor in Contemporary Art at Liverpool John Moores University's School of Art and Design.

Work in any medium will be accepted, eg. printmaking, drawing, photography, sculpture, the crafts, video, textiles etc. Artists may submit up to 3 works.

Work is for sale so a great opportunity to support local talent and purchase a unique piece of art.

Prizegiving event: Sunday 11 June, 1 - 3pm. All welcome.
