Bradford Industrial Museum
Back to back house volunteers
Bradford District has a varied collection of museums and galleries, housing an assortment of exhibits including an international art collection, machinery that helped shape Bradford, historical artefacts and curiosities to name but a few.
As part of the Industrial Museum we have a row of three back to back houses on site. Each has been decorated in the style of a different era of the Mills existence, the first two have recently been re-decorated and now we are looking to transform the third (previously 1950s) to a 1970s house. We are looking for volunteers to help with many aspects of this project from research to dealing with collections and hands on decorating.
You will get the chance to work with interesting and varied collections and develop your knowledge.
Responsibilities
- DIY woodwork and decorating – this will involve decorating the house and the building of a kitchenette unit.
