Hockney Workshops and Introductions for Schools
An ideal opportunity for schools to see David Hockney's largest ever painting! From the Tate Gallery's collection, this fifty panelled piece uses a combination of traditional techniques and new technology.

Arab Weaver Workshop
KS1, KS2 & KS3

Take 2 Portraits
KS1 or KS2
This session compares the historic portrait of The Brown Boy by Joshua Reynolds with a contemporary portrait of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol. The whole class will then have the opportunity to dressing up and learn how to draw a portrait of each other. Museum’s Learning Team led workshop

What is Sculpture
For Key Stages 1 and 2
Using the sculpture in the gallery and Lister Park children will compare and contrast as well as think about how sculpture is made before creating their own 3D piece. 2 hours session £80 (Max 35 pupils)
