The Venue

Queens Hall is an attractive Grade Two listed building situated in the picturesque village of Burley-In-Wharfedale. Originally built in 1868 this medium sized public hall has recently benefited from considerable renovation and refurbishment. Licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, this is an ideal venue for receptions and social functions. The Queens Hall has car-parking facilities and level floor access. It comprises of a Main Hall, Annexe and John Squire Room. The venue also has limited theatrical capabilities and a fully equipped kitchen. As well as social functions the venue is ideal for badminton, coffee mornings, yoga and small-scale theatrical productions.

The Main Hall measures 54ft x 36ft with a stage measuring 26ft x 10ft. There is a basic sound system and limited back stage facilities, including dressing rooms. The hall also has a balcony which gives a total theatrical seating capacity of 150. The room is multipurpose and is marked out for badminton. The hall is installed with a loop system.

The Annexe comfortably seats a maximum of 50 people and is ideal for meetings, coffee mornings and small functions. It adjoins an open-plan kitchen, which is fully equipped with modern appliances and utensils.

The John Squire Room is a purpose built IT suite incorporating 6 PCs. It also has a white-board and is therefore ideal for small meetings of a maximum 20 people.
