The Venue
The Kings Hall & Winter Garden is a central venue in the picturesque village of Ilkley which comprises of a traditional Victorian theatre and adjacent glass-roofed spa hall. The Kings Hall theatre is superbly suited to theatrical and musical events and is also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. The Winter Garden is an exceptional setting for receptions, social functions and exhibitions and is equipped with kitchen and bar facilities. There is level access to the ground floor only.

The King's Hall has a theatre seating capacity of 472. This is comprised of Stalls–374, balcony–66, boxes–32. An additional 40 seats can be allocated to two front rows if necessary. Without theatre seating the King's Hall has a level floor area of 2,700 sq. ft. (60ft x 45ft).
The Winter Garden is a glass-roofed spa hall with entrance foyer and ticket collection stand, kitchen with serving point, balcony and bar. The ground floor gives 1,968 sq. ft. (48ft x 41ft) of floor space and has access points via the King's Hall. The bar is situated on the balcony giving the Winter Gardens a total floor space of 2,500 sq. ft.
The whole venue gives a total floor space of over 7,000 sq. ft.
* The bar at the winter Garden is licensed and is staffed on request as part of your hire. This is at no extra cost to the hirer. The Halls Manager reserves the right to authorize the bar to open for appropriate public events. All bar opening times should be agreed at least one month prior to the event.
