Bradford Young Ambassadors
Who are we? We are a group of young people aged between 16 and 25 from all over Bradford. We meet regularly to share, discuss and enjoy arts and heritage based events and projects.
Being a Young Ambassador can help boost your confidence and gives you the opportunity to have a real impact on current projects. For example the 2012 cultural Olympiad project “Precious Cargo” has been heavily influenced by our creative input.
As a group we are very diverse, inclusive and welcome anyone who wants to take part. We get the opportunity to work with and talk to various people involved with Museums & Galleries as well as artists and other professionals which gives us a real insight into the creative world! The commitment level will depend on you and how much time you can put in, some people like coming to one off events and others take part in projects which can demand extra time.
You also get the opportunity to help with workshops with children and families in the holidays which is a great experience and an extra thing to put on your UCAS application or CV!
