Cartwright Hall Visitor Information

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery has been closed to the public to allow work to take place.

The Art Gallery in Bradford's Lister Park is closed to the public to allow maintenance to be carried out on the plasterwork inside the building. All activities scheduled to take place inside Cartwright Hall have been cancelled. Events scheduled to take place in Lister Park will go ahead as normal.

This closure does not affect any of the family workshops or exhibitions at our six other Bradford Council Museums, which will continue to be open to the public as normal.

Tim Hirst, Bradford Council's Director Commercial and Support Services ,said "It is unfortunate that we have had to close but the work is essential and the safety of the public is our number one priority." Our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, this message will be updated.
