Bradford 1 Gallery. Our new city centre venue Bradford 1 Gallery is the ideal location for exploring an exciting range of temporary exhibitions, each of which will feature practical workshops linked to the curriculum, talks and events. Local buses stop outside the door. Only a 10-minute walk from Forster Square Station and even less from Bradford Interchange. Workshops take place in the Studio, overlooking Centenary Square, or within the exhibition.

Connecting with Our City – Bovered ’bout Bradford Image
KS2/3 1-2 hours Max group size 30 Cost: £80.00
This workshop encourages pupils to think about their city, what it has to offer, its history and its architectural legacy. Using a range of materials students will draw from the Studio window capturing the life of the city. Clip boards and digital cameras are also available for outside use.
Plastic Culture Education Events
We are able to offer a range of introductions and workshops for groups of 10 or more wishing to pre-book a visit to the Plastic Culture exhibition. Catalogues accompanying the exhibition are available to buy priced at £12.99. As a special incentive for schools & colleges, we are offering a free catalogue to the first ten groups to pre-book a visit. There is also a handout for teachers & visitors who prefer a self-guided visit. This is available free of charge. Guided School Visits: Art in Action 12.30 - 2.30pm
Ideal for Key Stage 2. Be sport inspired with a guided exhibition tour, followed by a choice of practical sessions in the studio.
Workshop 1: A guided tour of the exhibitions with a follow up worksheet for you to do with your class. Examine what effects sport has on our bodies and how technology in sports clothing can enhance our performance. Free session lasts approx 90mins.
Workshop 2: Practice your dynamic drawing skills! Children will take it in turns to dress up as sports characters and pose for action shots. Drawing at the easels and quick draw games will encourage even the drawing shy. Cost £80. Maximum number of children - 30. Session lasts 2 hrs.
Workshop 3: Book a cheer leading session for your class with a qualified cheer leading instructor. Cost £80. Session 2 hrs subject to availability
